Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood stages anti-Israel rally

At one point, leading Brotherhood member Mohammed el-Beltagy took the microphone and shouted: “we will repeat it over and over, Israel is our enemy.” Others echoed the call, and one organizer whipped up the crowd in a chant urging the army to launch a war against Israel to “liberate Palestine … from the sons of monkeys and pigs.”
Since the revolt that deposed longtime autocrat Hosni Mubarak, the Brotherhood — known for its anti-Israeli and anti-Western rhetoric — has largely avoided showing enmity to the West or its former foe on its eastern border.
Morsi himself has repeatedly stressed commitment to Egypt’s peace treaty with Israel, and won U.S. praise by brokering a cease-fire between Palestinian Hamas militants and the Jewish state just months after he assumed his post.
But both the Islamist president and his group have had a hard time melding their longtime anti-Jewish stance with new responsibilities since coming to power.
Earlier this year, Brotherhood heavyweight Essam el-Erian created a stir after calling on Egyptian Jews who fled the country to return, in what many saw as a sort of outreach to Israel. Shortly after the remarks however, an Egyptian TV program revealed older comments by Morsi, in which he described Jews as “bloodsuckers” and “pigs.”

‘Obama policy will lead region to war,’ warns ex-Iraqi MP who’s paid heavy price for dissent

“Obama has handed Iraq over to Iran and said ‘do what you like’,” Alusi, a former Iraqi member of parliament who hails from the tribal Sunni province of al-Anbar in western Iraq, told the Times of Israel in a telephone interview from his home in Erbil, the capital of the autonomous Kurdistan region in northern Iraq.
Ten years after freeing Iraq from the tyranny of Saddam Hussein, the Obama administration has allowed a no less dictatorial regime to emerge, and then handed it over to its avowed enemy Iran, Alusi said.
Hugging the current Iraqi regime, Alusi holds, is the last thing the Obama administration should be doing right now
On March 24, US Secretary of State John Kerry visited Iraq during a tour of the region, expressing “the strong US commitment to Iraq,” a state department message read. The US completed its military withdrawal from Iraq at the end of 2011, but continues to closely cooperate with the predominantly Shiite coalition led by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. As part of the Strategic Framework Agreement, the US will provide nearly $300 million in aid to Iraq in 2013.

US military units put on alert as security situation deteriorates in Libyan capital

End Of Days News

The U.S. military has alerted two elite military units in Europe to be on standby if needed to respond to a deteriorating security situation in Tripoli, Fox News has learned.

In recent days both the U.S. embassy and British embassy in Libya have removed non-essential staff from their embassies.

A specialized Marine unit based in Moron, Spain, is in the process of being repositioned closer to Libya; and in Stuttgart, Germany, a special operations force assigned to AFRICOM has been placed on heightened alert.
Neither team has moved yet.

"We are repositioning assets in the region that could respond if necessary," a senior military official told Fox News Friday. "If the situation deteriorates (in Tripoli) we would be positioned to respond."
