Jerusalem’s Enemies to Be Destroyed! THE BIBLE SAYS SO!

Zechariah 12:1-2
1 A prophecy: The word of the Lord concerning Israel.
The Lord, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the human spirit within a person, declares:
2 “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem.

Zechariah 12:9 9 On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.

Pray for Israel guys!

US warships turn around toward Israel for possible evacuation of Americans

The US has ordered three amphibious warships with 2,500 Marines aboard back to the eastern Mediterranean to remain on standby off Israel’s shore in case they are needed to evacuate American citizens. The USS Iwo Jima, the USS New York and the USS Gunston Hall, were sailing west of Gibraltar on their way to back to Norfolk, Virginia, when they were turned around.
debkafile: The United States have never before evacuated American citizens from Israel. The US notice does not say whether a possible evacuation would include the US forces posted in American bases in Israel. A mass evacuation would entail a Marine shore landing in order to lead the evacuees to the amphibious craft. The Iwo Jima is a helicopter carrier, while the New York, one of the newest vessels of its kind in the US Navy, is a primary class of amphibious transport dock.
Although a decision to evacuate nationals was defined in the CNN report as a “remote contingency,” our sources stress that it is extreme enough to be taken only when a war situation is envisaged capable of endangering Americans.
This step negates the expectation articulated widely in Israel Monday, Nov. 19, that a ceasefire with the Hamas is within reach. It rather indicates that Washington sees the situation surrounding the Gaza Strip in a far different light, more like a situation holding the threat of a general conflagration beyond the confines of the Israel-Hamas contest in Gaza.
According to the same report, the US military also maintains three to four ships off the coast of Israel that are capable of shooting down ballistic missiles. That deployment has stretched for some months in the face of a potential ballistic threat from Iran.

God Reference in Ky. Laws Questioned

Some Kentucky citizens represented by the group American Atheists wants the U.S. Supreme Court to hear their appeal of a lawsuit challenging a state law that credits Almighty God for keeping the homeland safe.
The state Supreme Court has refused to hear the case, which stems from a 2002 law passed by the Kentucky legislature after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal. The law says the "safety and security of the commonwealth cannot be achieved apart from reliance upon Almighty God.

Here is another strike at a school people, but the media is only defending Gaza! Second Ashkelon school hit by missile fire from Gaza | The Times of Israel

Israel’s air strikes have intensified in the past few hours, and Hamas rocket attacks into southern Israel have continued unabated. Prospects for an early ceasefire faded, with Hamas and Israel far apart. International efforts are continuing to push the two sides toward a truce before Israel launches a wider ground offensive to try to wipe out Gaza’s terror infrastructure.

This is what we need to be looking for! Wealthy Dump Assets Amid Worries About Going Over 'Cliff'

Published: Monday, 12 Nov 2012 | 5:05 PM ET

For many of the wealthy, 2012 is becoming a good year to sell.
They're worried about the "fiscal cliff," which is when tax cuts expire and spending cuts are set to go into effect at the end of the year.

Fearing an increase in capital gains and dividend taxes, many of the rich are unloading stocks, businesses and homes before the end of the year.

Wealth advisors say that with capital-gains taxes potentially going to 25 percent from 15 percent, and other possible increases in the dividend tax, estate tax and other taxes, many clients are selling now to save millions in taxes.

“Under almost any scenario, it makes sense to take the gains this year,” said Gregory Curtis, chairman and managing director of Greycourt & Co. “Clients aren’t selling willy nilly. But if they can and they have a huge gain, they’re selling now.”

If the Bush-era tax cuts expire, taxes on capital gains would revert back to its previous rate of 20 percent from its current 15 percent. Another 5 percent may be added from health-care levies and changes in itemized deductions, bringing the rate to 25 percent for many high earners.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Homeland Security Promotes Welfare to New Immigrants!

Homeland Security promotes welfare to new immigrants in government ‘welcome’ materials

Ask not what you can do for your country, but what your new country can do for you.

Welcome to USA.gov,” a website maintained by the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), bills itself as the “primary gateway for new immigrants to find basic information on how to settle in the United States” — featuring a prominent section for new immigrants about how to access government benefits.

“Depending on your immigration status, length of time in the United States, and income, you may be eligible for some federal benefit programs,” the Web page reads.

“Government assistance programs can be critically important to the well-being of some immigrants and their families. Frequently, however, there is a lack of information about how to access such benefits. Benefit programs can be complicated and you may be given misleading information about how they operate.”

IAF hits four Jihad Islami commanders
DEBKAfile November 19, 2012, 6:25 PM (GMT+02:00)
An Israeli air strike Monday hit four key operatives of Jihad Islami’s second-tier command: Palestinian sources report one was killed and the other three injured. Bahu al Atta was commander of the Gaza City Brigade and senior planner of terrorist attacks against Israel and the Gaza missile offensive, and Tayser Jabari was its operations chief. Both were members of the organization’s high military council. The other two were also directly involved in terrorism.

You are only hearing about Gaza on the news! Israel is trying to take out military authorities, weapon threat areas, and Governement entities that are threats to Israel! Report: Israel May Be Hours Away From Launching a Ground War Against Gaza Militants

Vittert

According to reports, Israel may be just hours away from launching a ground war against Gaza militants. Fox News Channel’s Leland Vittert is reporting live from southern Israel where militants have launched over 1,000 rockets. This as Israel continues airstrikes against Gaza, which have killed more than 80 Palestinians, a number of whom were children.
Vittert showed us firsthand the terror associated with one of these rocket strikes. While shooting at a school that had previously been hit, sirens starting blaring indicating another strike and Vittert was forced to run for cover. “Those seconds when the sirens are going off are just awful. You can see the anxiety on everyone’s face in here. Knowing that you have no idea what’s going to happen next,” Vittert said breathlessly after arriving in the shelter.

Israeli government websites under mass hacking attack

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - More than 44 million hacking attempts have been made on Israeli government web sites since Wednesday when Israel began its Gaza air strikes, the government said on Sunday.
Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz said just one hacking attempt was successful on a site he did not want to name, but it was up and running after 10 minutes of downtime.
Typically, there are a few hundred hacking attempts a day on Israeli sites, the ministry said.
Attempts on defence-related sites have been the highest, while 10 million attempts have been made on the site of Israel's president, 7 million on the Foreign Ministry and 3 million on the site of the prime minister.

MSNBC Anchor Tells Israeli Ambassador Hamas Rockets ‘Rarely Do Damage’

Beyond its military operation targeting the Hamas terrorist infrastructure in Gaza, Israel is invested in an intense media campaign to make sure its side of the story is being heard overseas. But that’s not always easy to do.

In an interview with Israel’s top envoy to the United States on Saturday, MSNBC provided yet another example of how much work Israeli officials face in their effort to pass through the filter of the mainstream media and present their side of the story.

MSNBC’s Mara Schiavocampo began her interview of Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren straightforwardly enough, asking “What would be the trigger for a ground operation? What’s the red line here?”

Oren answered, “You have the equivalent of what would be about 170 million Americans under bomb shelters. If Hamas continues to escalate we will take the necessary and legitimate measures to defend our citizens.”

Schiavocampo’s second question might be considered more controversial, positing the argument that long-range rockets carrying warheads weighing between 20 and 90 kilograms — 46 to 198 pounds — aren’t actually dangerous to human life. She asked:

“Living under the threat of rocket attack is certainly a psychological trauma. But what would you say to those who argue that the rockets are essentially very ineffective, they rarely do damage and that the response from Israelis is disproportional to the threat they’re under.”

Oren answered she might want to pose that question to the three Israelis killed by a rocket in Kiryat Malachi on Thursday (see TheBlaze’s story here and Glenn Beck’s segment looking at media bias and profiling the victims here). Oren suggested Schiavocampo envisage what would happen if Hamas were bombing America. He said:

Terror group steps up firing of long-range rockets to Tel Aviv

TEL AVIV – Iran and Hezbollah are furiously trying to resupply Hamas in the Gaza Strip with long-range missiles to fire into Israel, according to Israeli defense sources.

The information comes as Alaeddin Boroujerdi, head of the Iranian parliament’s national security and foreign policy committee, denied Israeli claims his country was supplying rockets to Gazan groups, according to a report posted on Iran’s Al Alam’s television website.

Iran denies supplying Hamas with missiles!

A senior Iranian politician has denied that his country had supplied Palestinian militants in Gaza with missiles capable of hitting Israel's commercial centre.
Hamas's armed wing said on Saturday it had launched an Iranian-made Fajr-5 rocket at Tel Aviv, about 43 miles north of Gaza, in the third rocket attack on the city since Wednesday. Israeli police said the rocket was intercepted mid-air by an Israeli anti-missile battery.

Iran has condemned Israel's offensive as "organised terrorism". But Alaeddin Boroujerdi, head of the national security and foreign policy committee in Tehran, said Israeli claims that Iran was supplying rockets were unfounded.

Israel using Gaza as "warm-up" round for Iran?

REPORTED BY CBS

Israel may soon take its airstrikes into Hamas-controlled Gaza to Lebanon, as practice for "a likely war with Iran," Washington Post defense writer David Ignatius suggested Sunday on "Face the Nation."
"Some people think... Israel [is] testing the rockets that would be fired against [Iran] from Gaza, next from Lebanon," Ignatius said during a roundtable discussion. "So we may see something with Lebanon soon because it's a preliminary; this is a, kind of, warm-up round for the real conflagration that's ahead that involves Iran."
Tom Ricks, author of the new book called "The Generals: American Military Command From World War II to Today," agreed there's a good chance Israel would strike Iran to try to take out its nuclear facilities - "especially given the timing of the Gaza thing," he said. "They waited until after the elections were over, and now they're getting down to business."

Hamas issues cease-fire conditions, Egyptian general says.

Gaza City (CNN) -- With an Egyptian official acting as an intermediary, Hamas on Monday gave Israel its conditions for a cease-fire, a general in Egyptian intelligence told CNN.

A special Israeli delegation received the letter in Cairo from intelligence chief Mohamed Shehata, the general said.

"We are optimistic about the negotiations so far," the general said.
No details of the conditions were immediately available, nor was there any immediate confirmation of the letter from Israel.

DEBKA REPORTS

Missiles from the Gaza Strip hailed down in the last few minutes Monday on dozens of Israeli towns and villages including new places not targeted until now. The rocket fire now comes around the clock. Before morning, 17 rockets were fired at Beersheba, Ashkelon, Ofakim, Ashdod and Shear Hanegev, of which Iron Dome intercepted seven. Sunday night, a house in Beer Tuvia took a direct hit from the barrage aimed at Ashdod, Gan Yavne, Kiryat Malachi, Gedera and Tel Aviv. Many rockets were caught in mid-air by Iron Dome. Ten people were injured.
Early Monday, an Israel air attack targeted Deir al Balakh in the Gaza Strip, after striking 80 terrorist targets Sunday. One mistakenly destroyed a family home in Gaza City, killing nine members of the same family, five of them children. Most of the 80 Palestinians killed in the five days of Israel’s Pillar of Cloud operation were high-profile Hamas terrorists, who were keys to its missile war on Israel.

Iranian arms ship carries fresh, improved Fajar supplies for Gaza.

Iran's Khark helicopter carrier posted in the Red SeaAn Iranian 150-ton freighter departed Bandar Abbas port Sunday, Nov. 18, with a cargo of 220 short-range missiles and 50 improved long-range Fajar-5 rockets for the Gaza Strip, debkafile’s intelligence sources report. The ship turned toward the Bab al-Mandeb Straits and the Red Sea.

The new Fajar-5s have a 200-kilo warhead, which packs a bigger punch than the 175 kilos of explosives delivered by the rockets in current use with the Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip. To extend their range to cover the 85 kilometers from Gaza to Tel Aviv, Hamas removed a part of their payloads to make them lighter.
