In ancient times watchman would mount the city walls in times of stress to survey the scene outside the fortifications. He was situated on a spot from which he could monitor the approaches to the town. If a threat appeared, he would sound a warning and the town would shut its gates and prepare for battle.

Aldi and Hoogvliet grocery chains ban Israeli products
End Of Days News
Both the Aldi and Hoogvliet retail giants said that they would no longer sell Israeli products, the Dutch daily Trouw newspaper reported on Monday.
A spokesman for the Aldi chain explained that the company was not interested in its products “being part of public discourse in any way.”
The announcement came after theEuropean Union last week issued new directives prohibiting funding or grants to any Israeli entities located in East Jerusalem, the West Bank, or the Golan Heights.
A third chain, Jumbo, already claims that it does not stock products from settlements. The company has asked its suppliers to confirm that products from Israel do not come from what it termed “occupied territory.” According to Trouw, Jumbo made the move in response to the renewed public debate about the settlements.
A Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman decried the boycott against settlements as hypocritical and discriminatory, noting that there was no similar ban on entities operating from other disputed areas in Europe.
“It does more harm than good,” the spokesman said.

'Secret Obama plan' forfeits Temple Mount to Palestinians
End Of Days News
The Temple Mount is the holiest site in Judaism.
The proposed plan is part of the basis for U.S.-brokered talks that are set to resume in Washington next week after Secretary of State John Kerry announced that both Israel and PA President Mahmoud Abbas have agreed to open negotiations aimed at creating a Palestinian state.
Israel has not agreed to the U.S. plan over the Temple Mount, with details still open for discussion, stated the PA negotiator.
The negotiator, who is one of the main Palestinian figures leading the Arab side of the talks, further divulged Kerry’s proposed outline for a Palestinian state as presented orally to Israel and the PA.
He said Jordan has been invited to play a key role in the discussions surrounding both the Temple Mount and Jerusalem while it will be the PA, with some Jordanian assistance, that would ultimately receive control of some of those areas.
WND was first to report in 2007 that Jordan had been quietly purchasing real estate surrounding the Temple Mount in Jerusalem hoping to gain more control over the area accessing the holy site, according to Palestinian and Israeli officials.
The Obama administration has quietly presented a plan in which the Palestinian Authority and Jordan will receive sovereignty over the Temple Mount while Israel will retain the land below the Western Wall, according to a senior PA negotiator speaking to WND.

Justice Shouldn’t Investigate Zimmerman, It Should Investigate The Police State
End Of Days News
President Barack Obama, the Department of Justice, the liberal media punditry and a number of civil rights activists appear hell-bent to continue stoking the fire of American racial tension following the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. But as the DOJ mulls a civil rights case against Zimmerman, one of the Nation’s leading civil rights guardians has come forward to ask officials to stop the race baiting and take a real initiative to improve American minorities’ problems.
President Barack Obama, who inserted himself into the case even before Zimmerman’s trial saying that his son would look like Martin, seized upon disquiet over Zimmerman’s acquittal Friday. The President, in more words, said that anger over the jury’s decision is justified because racial profiling is a real problem in America.
From the President’s remarks:
You know, when Trayvon Martin was first shot I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago. And when you think about why, in the African American community at least, there’s a lot of pain around what happened here, I think it’s important to recognize that the African American community is looking at this issue through a set of experiences and a history that doesn’t go away. There are very few African American men in this country who haven’t had the experience of being followed when they were shopping in a department store. That includes me. There are very few African American men who haven’t had the experience of walking across the street and hearing the locks click on the doors of cars. That happens to me — at least before I was a senator. There are very few African Americans who haven’t had the experience of getting on an elevator and a woman clutching her purse nervously and holding her breath until she had a chance to get off. That happens often. And I don’t want to exaggerate this, but those sets of experiences inform how the African American community interprets what happened one night in Florida. And it’s inescapable for people to bring those experiences to bear. The African American community is also knowledgeable that there is a history of racial disparities in the application of our criminal laws — everything from the death penalty to enforcement of our drug laws. And that ends up having an impact in terms of how people interpret the case.
Call for referendum on peace deal panned by Liberman, Livni
End Of Days News
Avigdor Liberman, the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chairman and head of the hawkish Yisrael Beytenu, referred in recent weeks to referendums as a way for “decision makers to run away from responsibility.”
On Friday, US Secretary of State John Kerry announced that both the Israelis and Palestinians had agreed to a “framework” for the resumption of talks. The Palestinians, however, have yet to confirm their participation.
Livni, who is charged with heading the Israeli negotiating team, Netanyahu’s envoy Yitzhak Molcho and Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat would meet in Washington in the coming days to begin the process for the renewal of negotiations, Kerry said.
Forgive us Father for the sins blatantly committed, ignoring your commands and abusing the blessings you have given us!!!! A Boys' Camp to Redefine Gender
End Of Days News
Over the past three years, photographer Lindsay Morris has been documenting a four-day camp for gender nonconforming boys and their parents.
The camp, “You Are You” (the name has been changed to protect the privacy of the children and is also the name of Morris’ series), is for “Parents who don’t have a gender-confirming 3-year-old who wants to wear high heels and prefers to go down the pink aisle in K-Mart and not that nasty dark boys’ aisle,” Morris said with a laugh.
It is also a place for both parents and children to feel protected in an environment that encourages free expression.
“[The kids] don’t have to look over their shoulders, and they can let down their guard. Those are four days when none of that matters, and they are surrounded by family members who support them,” Morris said.
Morris has stated that her photographic goal for the project is “to represent the spirit of these boys as they shine.” Some of the ways in which the kids shine is through the talent and fashion shows at camp that are popular and for which the campers come well-prepared.
“Some practice for the talent show all year, and others create their own gowns with their mothers or friends of the family,” Morris said. “The focus and enthusiasm is really pretty incredible. Also, it can be very emotional for the parents, especially the families who are new to camp and are experiencing this kind of group acceptance for the very first time.”
