New LGBT Protection Law Criminalizing Christians?

End Of Days News

gay rights

More than 180 cities across the country have now passed LGBT laws that suppress the views of Christians.

Dubbed "nondiscrimination" by LGBT activists, the ordinances provide new protection for sexual minorities while also severely curtailing religious liberty.

So far, the laws have gone largely unnoticed. But a measure passed in San Antonio Sept. 5 has drawn national attention, both for its scope and for passing in this large, Hispanic-majority city traditionally known for its family values.

The ordinance forbids discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Although hundreds of believers across San Antonio attended a city council hearing to protest the ordinance; it passed easily with an 8-3 vote, backed by Mayor Julian Castro, a rising star in Democratic politics.

The Sunday after the vote, CBN News visited churches across the city where believers expressed shock over the vote and fear about what it would mean.

Believers Shocked
"The right for us to speak out and say, 'I disagree. It doesn't sound right.' Now we're labeled a hater, a bigot, homophobic," Jacob Herrera, with Faith Outreach Center International, explained.

"It criminalized what you thought about the LGB community and I don't think that's right." Leonard Pena, with Abundant Life Church, said.

"My faith, my belief and how I've raised my family—I can get in trouble for that because they don't agree with that," Rosalie Astran, a fellow church member, said. More

CHRISTIE TO SIGN BAN ON GAY CONVERSION THERAPY

End Of Days News

CHRISTIE TO SIGN BAN ON GAY CONVERSION THERAPY…

Chris Christie

Gov. Chris Christie plans to sign a bill Monday barring licensed therapists from trying to turn gay teenagers straight, making New Jersey the second state to ban so-called conversion therapy, along with California.  The bill passed both houses of the New Jersey Legislature with bipartisan support in June. Assemblyman Tim Eustace, who sponsored the bill and is openly gay, described the therapy as “an insidious form of child abuse.” Gay activists pushing the ban were uncertain what Christie would do. In a signing note accompanying the bill that will be made public Monday, Christie said he believes people are born gay and that homosexuality is not a sin. That view is inconsistent with his Catholic faith. The Republican governor also said the health risks of trying to change a child’s sexual orientation, as identified by the American Psychological Association, outweigh concerns over the government setting limits on parental choice. Forgive us Father for the sins blatantly committed, ignoring your commands and abusing the blessings you have given us!!!! A Boys' Camp to Redefine Gender

End Of Days News

1

Over the past three years, photographer Lindsay Morris has been documenting a four-day camp for gender nonconforming boys and their parents.
The camp, “You Are You” (the name has been changed to protect the privacy of the children and is also the name of Morris’ series), is for “Parents who don’t have a gender-confirming 3-year-old who wants to wear high heels and prefers to go down the pink aisle in K-Mart and not that nasty dark boys’ aisle,” Morris said with a laugh.
It is also a place for both parents and children to feel protected in an environment that encourages free expression.
“[The kids] don’t have to look over their shoulders, and they can let down their guard. Those are four days when none of that matters, and they are surrounded by family members who support them,” Morris said.
Morris has stated that her photographic goal for the project is “to represent the spirit of these boys as they shine.” Some of the ways in which the kids shine is through the talent and fashion shows at camp that are popular and for which the campers come well-prepared.
“Some practice for the talent show all year, and others create their own gowns with their mothers or friends of the family,” Morris said. “The focus and enthusiasm is really pretty incredible. Also, it can be very emotional for the parents, especially the families who are new to camp and are experiencing this kind of group acceptance for the very first time.”

Gay marriage would 'force Queen to break sovereign promise'

End Of Days News

Legalizing gay marriage could force the Queen to break a sovereign promise, a former senior bishop has said.

Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali, who was Bishop of Rochester for 15 years, said that the Queen took an oath to "uphold God's laws" when she was crowned.
But the Bishop claimed that signing into law a Bill that would allow same-sex couples to marry would force her to break that promise she made upon her Coronation.
Peers will today begin two days of debates on the Government's plans to allow same-sex weddings, with a vote tomorrow.
Bishop Nazir-Ali told the Daily Mail: "The idea of a constitutional monarchy comes from the Bible. Christians are told in the Bible to obey their rulers, unless the ruler tells us to do something God forbids.
"Happily in this country we have a monarchy that has taken an oath of upholding God's laws, and the present Queen has for years been faithful to that. We are praying that she continues to be faithful. But while she is faithful to the vows she has taken, in this country she has to act on the advice of her ministers.

Britain's House of Commons has voted to legalize gay marriage in England and Wales. British MPs approved the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill by 366 votes to 161.
The bill will move onto the House of Lords, where it is expected to face opposition.
Several Tory MPs spoke out against the bill, which has caused tensions within the party. The Labour and Liberal Democrat leaderships backed the bill.

THE Church of Scotland has taken a historic step by voting in favour of allowing openly gay men and women to become ministers.

End Of Days News

THE Church of Scotland has taken a historic step by voting in favour of allowing openly gay men and women to become ministers.
Following an impassioned debate lasting almost six hours, its General Assembly voted to affirm its “current doctrine and practice in relation to human sexuality”, which stops gay people becoming ministers.
However, under a compromise hammered out during the debate, liberal congregations will be able to opt out of that and appoint gay clergy if they wish.
Over the course of the next year, a legal framework will be developed to accommodate the proposals, which will then be ratified by presbyteries, before finally being rubber-stamped by the General Assembly in 2015.
Senior Church officials described it as a “step-change” for the Kirk that would ensure unity.
The Right Rev Lorna Hood, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, said: “This is a massive vote for the peace and unity of the Church.”
But evangelicals warned of a “betrayal” of biblical truth that would force members to leave, while the Free Church of Scotland described the decision as “totally confusing”.
The ordination of ministers in same-sex relationships has
divided the Kirk since traditionalist members attempted to block the appointment of Scott Rennie, who is gay, in 2009.
The Assembly voted in support of Aberdeen-based Mr Rennie, but introduced an interim ban on ordaining other gay ministers until a special commission had studied the matter.
So far, two congregations have left the Kirk over the issue – St George’s Tron Church in Glasgow and Gilcomston South Church in Aberdeen.
Yesterday’s decision was as the result of an 11th-hour intervention by former moderator Albert Bogle, who stood down from the role on Saturday. Until he spoke, three options had been on the table.
The revisionist position promoted a “mixed economy”, in which openly gay ministers who were in civil partnerships could be ordained, but with a conscience clause for those who wished not to do so.
The traditionalists’ position would not have allowed any new appointments, but it offered legal protection from discipline to any openly gay ministers appointed before 2009.

Hey Idiots! Our money will not be worth anything soon anyway! Why don't you put your money towards the widows or orphans you pigs! 'In God We Trust' Lawsuit: Freedom From Religion Foundation Sues To Remove Phrase From Currency

End Of Days News

In God We Trust Lawsuit

The Freedom From Religion Foundation mounted a lawsuit against the U.S. Treasury Department and other government officials this week, claiming that they are discriminating against nonbelievers by including the phrase "In God We Trust" on the nation's currency.
"Our government is prohibited from endorsing one religion over another but also prohibited from endorsing religion over nonreligion. The placement of a monotheistic ideal on our nation's currency violates this stricture and is therefore unconstitutional," FFRF Co-President Dan Barker said in a statement.
Along with 19 other plaintiffs, the FFRF argues in the lawsuit that they "are forced to proselytize -- by an Act of Congress -- for a deity they don't believe in whenever they handle money."

Federal appeals court ruling may force California prisons to hire witches

End Of Days News

California taxpayers, who already pay for prison chaplains covering such faiths as Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Protestant and American Indian religions, might have to add witches to the list.

A lawsuit working its way through the federal court system would require state prisons to hire Wiccan chaplains. Two female convicts who practice Wicca sued the state for refusing to hire a paid full-time Wiccan chaplain and “by failing to apply neutral criteria in determining whether paid chaplaincy positions are necessary to meet the religious exercise needs of inmates adhering to religions outside the five faiths (Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Native American and Protestant),” according to an appellate court’s decision.

A federal court in Fresno, Calif., dismissed the lawsuit in 2011 after finding no violations in the women’s rights, but the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals brought it back to life this week by overturning the trial court’s decision. The San Francisco-based appellate court ordered the original judge to reconsider the case and determine whether state prisons unconstitutionally cater to majority religions, Judicial Watch reports.

The appellate court wrote that if the allegations are true, “the prison administration failed to employ any neutral criteria in evaluating whether a growing membership in minority religions warranted a reallocation of resources used in accommodating inmates’ religious exercise needs.”

While “the First Amendment does not require prison administration to provide inmates with the chaplain of their choice,” the state does require it to employ neutral criteria in deciding where funds are allocated, the decision reads.

Heterosexuals Need Not Apply: DOD Extends Benefits Only to Gay Unmarried ‘Partners’

End Of Days News

(CNSNews.com) - Outgoing Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta has unilaterally issued a directive stating that the U.S. military will now extend certain benefits to unmarried domestic partners that were formerly reserved for married couples—but will only do so if the domestic partners certify in writing to the Department of Defense that they are of the same sex.

Heterosexual unmarried partners do not qualify for the benefits—and thus are treated unequally by Panetta’s directive on the basis of their sexual orientation.

Panetta issued his directive in a Feb. 11 memorandum to the secretaries of the military departments and the undersecretary of defense for personnel and readiness. The subject line on the memo said:

“Extending benefits to same-sex domestic partners of military members.”

“At the direction of the President, the Department has conducted a careful and deliberative review of the benefits currently provided to the families of Service members,” Panetta said. “We have now identified additional family member and dependent benefits that we can lawfully provide to same-sex domestic partners of Military Service members and their children through changes in Department of Defense policies and regulations.”
“These benefits shall be extended to the same-sex domestic partners and, where applicable, children of same-sex domestic partners, once the Service member and their same-sex domestic partner have signed a declaration attesting to the existence of their committed relationship.”

Panetta memorandum included a copy of the “declaration” by which homosexual service members will to attest that they are in what Panetta calls a “committed relationship” with another person of the same-sex. The declaration is specifically for homosexuals and does not make any allowance for people of the opposite sex who are engaged in a heterosexual so-called “committed relationship.”

DOD’s “declaration” states that the “definition” of a “domestic partner” is as follows: “Domestic partner means a person in a domestic partnership with a Service member of the same sex.”

The “declaration” also says: “Domestic partnership means a committed relationship between two adults, of the same sex, that meets all the requirements below.”

In addition to being human beings of the same-sex, two service members seeking the special benefits that the Department of Defense will bestow on a “domestic partnership” must formally attest to the federal government that: “Neither of us is married (legally or by common law), joined in civil union with, or domestic partners with anyone else.”

If two people of the same-sex attest to the Department of Defense that they are unmarried domestic partners, they also must later inform the Department of Defense if they break up and no longer are same-sex domestic partners.

“We also agree to, and understand that: … We must inform my Service not later than 30 days after (a) the date of dissolution of the domestic partnership, (b) the date of the partnership no longer meets the eligibility requirements, or (c) termination of the domestic partnership by death.”

Panetta’s referendum said that because of the Defense of Marriage Act, the Defense Department cannot extend all of the benefits given to married couples to unmarried same-sex “domestic partners.”

But, Panetta said, “In the event that the Defense of Marriage Act is no longer applicable to the Department of Defense, it will be the policy of the Department to construe the words ‘spouse’ and ‘marriage’ without regard to sexual orientation, and married couples, irrespective of sexual orientation, will be granted full military benefits.”

Among the benefits that DOD will now give to same-sex “domestic partners” but not heterosexual domestic partners are: joint duty assignments, legal assistance, disability and death compensation, child care, space-available travel on DOD aircraft, payments to missing persons, commissary privileges, exchange privileges, welfare and recreation programs, emergency leave, and youth programs.

As it was in the days of Noah! IMMORALITY....Porn companies sue to overturn Los Angeles condom law

A view shows the sign for pornographic film production company Vivid Entertainment Group

Two major US porn companies have filed a suit to try to overturn a law requiring porn actors in Los Angeles County to wear condoms.
Vivid Entertainment and Califa Productions say the measure violates the guarantee of free speech in the US constitution's First Amendment.
The law, known as Measure B, was approved by voters in November.
The measure was supported by the Aids Healthcare Foundation (AHF), which said it would shield actors from HIV.
"Overturning this law is something I feel very passionate about," Steven Hirsch, founder of the Vivid Entertainment, told AFP news agency.
"I believe the industry's current testing system works well," he added.
Porn actors Kayden Kross and Logan Pierce are joining the challenge against the law.
HIV scares Measure B expanded to county level an ordinance which had already been passed in the city of Los Angeles, requiring condom use as a condition of receiving a filming permit there.
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa signed that measure into law in January 2012.
Adult production companies have threatened to move out of California because of the requirement, but face legal difficulties.
A 1988 ruling by the California Supreme Court prevented producers from being prosecuted under anti-prostitution laws, and only one other state - New Hampshire - has a similar ruling.
Adult film productions in the LA area have been suspended in the past because of HIV scares.
Critics of the condom requirement say actors are regularly tested, and such a requirement would hurt business and push production studios underground.
"We found that a lot of viewers at home don't want to see condom porn," Keiran Lee, a British porn actor in Los Angeles, told BBC's Newsbeat in January last year.

Bigfoot is a nephilim! 5 year study says...North American Sasquatch is a hybrid species, the result of males of an unknown hominin species crossing with female Homo sapiens. I know they say its a primate but we know better!

‘BIGFOOT’
DNA SEQUENCED IN UPCOMING GENETICS STUDY
Five-Year
Genome Study Yields Evidence of Homo sapiens/Unknown Hominin Hybrid Species in
North America

Contact: Robin
Lynne, media@dnadiagnostics.com, 231.622.5362

DALLAS,
Nov. 24--A team of scientists can verify that their 5-year long DNA study, currently under peer-review, confirms the existence of a novel hominin hybrid species, commonly called “Bigfoot” or “Sasquatch,” living in North America. Researchers’ extensive DNA sequencing suggests that the legendary Sasquatch is a human relative that arose approximately 15,000 years ago as a hybrid cross of modern Homo sapiens with an unknown primate species.

The study was conducted by a team of experts in genetics, forensics, imaging and
pathology, led by Dr. Melba S. Ketchum of Nacogdoches, TX. In response to recent
interest in the study, Dr. Ketchum can confirm that her team has sequenced 3 complete Sasquatch nuclear genomes and determined the species is a human hybrid:

“Our study has sequenced 20 whole mitochondrial genomes and utilized next generation
sequencing to obtain 3 whole nuclear genomes from purported Sasquatch samples.
The genome sequencing shows that Sasquatch mtDNA is identical to modern
Homo sapiens, but Sasquatch nuDNA is a novel, unknown hominin related to Homo sapiens and other primate species. Our data indicate that the North American Sasquatch is a hybrid species, the result of males of an unknown hominin species crossing with female Homo sapiens.
Hominins are members of the taxonomic grouping Hominini, which includes all members of the genus Homo. Genetic testing has already ruled out Homo neanderthalis and the Denisova hominin as contributors to Sasquatch mtDNA or nuDNA. “The male progenitor that contributed the unknown sequence to this hybrid is unique as its DNA is more distantly removed from humans than other recently discovered hominins like the Denisovan individual,” explains Ketchum.

“Sasquatch nuclear DNA is incredibly novel and not at all what we had expected. While it
has human nuclear DNA within its genome, there are also distinctly non-human, non-archaic hominin, and non-ape sequences. We describe it as a mosaic of human and novel non-human sequence. Further study is needed and is ongoing to better characterize and understand Sasquatch nuclear DNA.”

Ketchum is a veterinarian whose professional experience includes 27 years of research in
genetics, including forensics. Early in her career she also practiced veterinary medicine, and she has previously been published as a participant in mapping the equine genome. She began testing the DNA of purported Sasquatch hair samples 5 years ago

Ketchum calls on public officials and law enforcement to immediately recognize the
Sasquatch as an indigenous people:

“Genetically, the Sasquatch are a human hybrid with unambiguously modern human maternal ancestry. Government at all levels must recognize them as an indigenous people
and immediately protect their human and Constitutional rights against those who would see in their physical and cultural differences a ‘license’ to hunt, trap, or kill them.”

Full details of the study will be presented in the near future when the study manuscript publishes.

Ketchum is available for interview or to answer further questions about the
Sasquatch genome study and associated research on novel contemporary hominins at

More than 800 homes flooded as storms hit UK

Aerial views of Exeter show the extent of the flooding along the River Exe

More than 800 homes have been flooded after storms hit parts of England and Wales, the Environment Agency has said.

It confirmed that 816 houses have been affected after a band of heavy rain and strong winds swept across the country.

Devon and Cornwall are badly hit, along with Malmesbury in Wiltshire and Kempsey in Worcestershire.

Two people have died in the storm - a woman killed by a falling tree in Exeter and a man whose car crashed into a swollen river in Cambridgeshire.

There are more than 220 flood warnings in place across England, which means people should take action because flooding is expected.

Of these, about 58 are in the South West and around 119 in the Midlands.

The Environment Agency has also issued more than 270 flood alerts - indicating people should prepare for possible flooding.

According to its website there is still a medium risk of flooding on Monday in North Yorkshire, Hartlepool and Middlesbrough and in Devon.

The BBC Weather Centre said further heavy rain is expected to affect Wales and south-western parts of England during Sunday afternoon and evening.
