Tonite, I was outside and when I looked up I remembered on Spaceweather.com it said to look at Jupiter tonight over the moon.
In ancient times watchman would mount the city walls in times of stress to survey the scene outside the fortifications. He was situated on a spot from which he could monitor the approaches to the town. If a threat appeared, he would sound a warning and the town would shut its gates and prepare for battle.

NATO General-Secretary Anders Fogh Rasmussen says NATO allies will respond
positively to Turkey’s demand for Patriot missiles within “days” and that
command of the system will be under NATO control. He also said the alliance
would not avoid using further measures for Turkey’s defense. “Russia has no
right to intervene in this process. It is a NATO decision,” he said

Iranian foreign ministry spokesman reported Wednesday that an official protest had been lodged with the UN for eight alleged US violations of Iranian air space in the month of October. Tehran asked the UN Security Council and secretary general in two letters to notify the US of the complaint. Only one incident was made public, the attack on a US drone by two Iranian fighters over the Gulf on Nov. 1, he said. DEBKAfile: Washington reported that attack as taking place in international skies.

An Egyptian court has sentenced eight Christians to death over the release of the controversial film “Innocence of Muslims”, which triggered violent protests across the Muslim world in September.
Seven Coptic Christians and a Florida-based American pastor “were convicted of insulting the Islamic religion through participating in producing and offering a movie that insults Islam and its prophet," Judge Saif Nasr Soliman said on Wednesday.
It was not specified in what way the convicts participated in creating the controversial film.
The seven men and one woman were tried and convicted in absentia. The convicted Copts are all expatriates residing abroad and are unlikely to travel to Egypt to face the sentence.
The amateur movie released in September portrayed the Prophet Mohammed as a fraud, who gives approval to child abuse.
The film was shot in California and uploaded to YouTube in early September. The release caused a wave of global and sometimes violent anti-US protests among Muslims.
The alleged creator of the film, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, who is believed to be Copt of Egyptian origin, was arrested in the US in late September.
His arrest, however, was not connected with the content of the film, but with breaching probation requirements.

Rev 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and [see] thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
Most Americans don’t realize that there are far more dollars in use in the rest of the world than in the United States itself. The following is from a scholarly article by Linda Goldberg…
The dollar is a major form of cash currency around the world. The majority of dollar banknotes are estimated to be held outside the US. More than 70% of hundred-dollar notes and nearly 60% of twenty- and fifty-dollar notes are held abroad, while two-thirds of all US banknotes have been in circulation outside the country since 1990For decades we have been exporting gigantic quantities of our currency.
So what would happen if that process suddenly reversed and massive piles of dollars started coming back into the country?
Rumors of wars!?!
China Unveils New Killer Drones, Aims Them at Russia
Watch out, Vladimir Putin: China’s drone fleet is getting real.
And judging from how Beijing is promoting its robots to the outside world,
they’re aimed straight at Russia.
That’s all from a
glimpse of the biennial China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition,
held earlier his month in Zhuhai, which has become the main event for the latest
in all things Chinese aircraft. It’s China’s largest aircraft expo, while also
presenting an opportunity for Beijing to show off its growing robotic muscle —
and potential buyers in the developing world. But until recently, the drones on
display were usually mock-ups
or drawings, not the real thing.
This year,
Beijing’s most prominent new drone is the dinosaur-named Wing Loong, or
Pterodactyl, according
to a round-up at Defense News. The drone is reportedly operational
— China has previously shown only models of the drone — and closely resembles
the U.S. MQ-9 Reaper, which the Pentagon uses to bomb insurgent hideouts in
Pakistan. Few foreign journalists were reportedly allowed to see it, but photos
and videos that appeared online prompted ace aviation journalist David Cenciotti
to remark that the Wing Loong appeared “largely copied
from the U.S. version.”
But a lot cheaper.
The Wing Loong reportedly comes at a rather incredible bargain price of $1
million, compared to the Reaper’s varying price tags in the $30
million range. Now, a word of caution to potential buyers: What you’re
getting for that price might
not be very capable. But aside from price, the Wing Loong can also
reportedly fly for about 20 hours, up to a range of 2,500 miles. It also packs
four “hard points” for mounting a variety of laser- and precision-guided bombs.
Also pictured on Chinese television was the Wing
Loong’s ground control room, similar to the ones used by U.S. drones, but
with only three-screen-equipped workstations compared
to the Reaper’s five.

Another drone
spotted with a clear resemblance to the Reaper is the CH-4. This drone was only
a scale
model, but reportedly has largely similar features to the Wing Loong. Its
reported maximum range is shorter: a little over 2,000 miles, but has 10 hours
more endurance time. Chinese companies also showed off a number of small
mini-drones, and concept photos of a number of futuristic concepts, including a
robotic
shark, missile-spewing drone helicopters and unmanned bombers. The tech also
included plenty of non-robotic items. There was a new anti-missile missile called
the FD-2000. There was a Chinese
copy of the U.S. military’s line of bomb-resistant MRAP trucks, a wearable
computer system for ground troops, aircraft radars and a whole mess of various
machine guns, anti-aircraft cannons and bombs.
There was also a
curious shift in how China was promoting its drones at Zhuhai. In recent years,
a selling point for convention goers involved drones presented as U.S. warship
killers. Exaggerated, yes, but a glimpse inside Chinese military thinking. In
2010, Chinese defense industries not-so-subtly advertised “bizarre renderings”
that illustrated drones “swarming over aircraft carrier battle groups like angry
bees,” Defense News reported. China Aerospace and Science Corporation
(CASC) also displayed a mural of its WJ-600 drone firing
a missile at a U.S. Arleigh Burke class destroyer.
This year, that was out. Illustrations of U.S. warships were
likewise replaced by generic, stateless ships. And Russian ships. In one video
seen this month, a sleek computer-animated combat drone called the Blue Shark
flexed its muscles in an attack on a digitized Russian
Admiral Kuznetsov class aircraft carrier.
Perhaps images of
bombing the U.S. Navy was a little too politically sensitive, in a kind of
reverse backtrack like what plagued
the atrocious Red Dawn remake. But the boosterism about blasting
American ships to the bottom has also receded as Beijing has grown more
confident in showing off its working drones. In recent years, the drones on
display at Zhuhai largely — and once exclusively — came in the form of models or
concept art. While interesting, the mock-ups presented an optimistic picture
about China’s future drone fleet like the aforementioned illustrations of drones
swooping down on American warships. And as sensational as that might look, it’s
a long way from a battle-ready drone fleet. But neither are operational
drones sitting on the tarmac, for that matter.
But they may not
necessarily need to be, if they’re for export. “We’ve
been contacting many countries, especially from Africa and Asia,” Guo Qian,
a director for CASC, told GlobalPost. “They are quite interested in the
intermediate and short-range UAVs because they are portable and low-cost.”
Which makes sense.
If you’re the leader of a small or mid-sized Latin American, African or Asian
country, a relatively cheap Chinese drone (that packs a punch) might not be a
bad deal — think bargain shopping for flying death robots — compared to the more
pricey American or Israeli drones, which
happen to lead the world market. That means even if China’s drones won’t
match the U.S. anytime soon, it may still spread them far and wide. And then
what happens when the drones do match the Pentagon’s ‘bots, or come
close? Who knows. Though we’ll probably see it first at Zhuhai.

THIS SHOWS A MOTHERS LOVE!
‘Terrorist’ Breaks Into Israeli Mother’s House With a Knife and Pipe…and She Takes Him Down With Martial Arts
On Monday, an Israeli mother of two in the in the small town of Sde Avraham faced a similar situation, but forced a very different result.
Israel National News relates:
Yael Matzpun was sleeping in a room with her four-year-old daughter and two-year-old son when she was awoken by heavy footsteps in the hall. She knew that her husband, an IDF officer, was not due at home.
“Suddenly I saw a terrorist in a kefiyyeh [head scarf] standing opposite me,” she told Maariv. “I decided that if I didn’t fight, he would murder me and my four children, there would be a massacre like in Itamar, where the Fogels and three of their children were murdered in their home.”
The terrorist turned on the light and said something in Arabic, she recalled. He had a knife in one hand and a metal pipe in the other. Suddenly he lunged at Yael, stabbing her in the face and shoulder.
What the terrorist did not know is that Yael is an athlete trained in Krav Maga, Israeli military hand-to-hand combat. She used her skills to drive him back and into the bathroom, and locked him in. At the same time, she pushed her young children to safety.
A Setback for Israel? Spain Joins France in Plans to Back Palestinian State at the U.N.
MADRID (TheBlaze/AP) — Spain’s foreign minister says Spain will vote in favor of recognition of a Palestinian state at the U.N. General Assembly this week.
Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo told parliament Wednesday that Spain would support the Palestinian bid at the U.N., because it feels it is the best way to advance toward peace.
As TheBlaze reported on Tuesday, France became the first major European country to come out in favor of U.N. recognition, a move seen as a setback for Israel. The timing of the French move seemed to be rooted in an attempt to sway other European nations in the same direction. In Spain’s case, such a notion took root.
The assembly is expected to vote Thursday on a resolution raising their status at the United Nations from an observer to a nonmember observer state, a move they believe is an important step toward a two-state solution with Israel.
Europe is divided over the issue. Switzerland and Portugal have said they will vote for the measure, but Germany is among the countries that have opposed the bid. Britain’s position remains unclear.
Palestinians say they are doing this out of frustration over the four-year deadlock in peace efforts. They believe an endorsement of their state will bolster their negotiating position.
Israel strongly opposes the bid, accusing the Palestinians of trying to bypass negotiations. The resolution would endorse a Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and east Jerusalem, the territories captured by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war. Israel opposes a pullback to the 1967 lines.
Praise you Heavenly Father, to see your prophecies come true is a treasure! Netanyahu’s latest building plan for Jerusalem is none other than for the Third Temple, claims Al Aqsa Foundation.
Muslims Claim Netanyahu Plans to Build ‘False’ Holy Temple
Al Aqsa officials warn that the “new Likud” is planning to build a “false” Third Holy Temple and divide the Muslim compound.
Muslim paranoia of Jews on the Temple Mount had reached panic stages even before this week’s Likud primaries that placed Jewish Leadership faction leader Moshe Feiglin in a ranking that assures his election to the Knesset in January.
Arab world media constantly report of Jewish “invasions” of the Temple Mount every time Jews try to ascend the holy site. Israeli authorities enforce the Muslim Waqf policy that forbids Jews to pray there or carry prayer books or other holy articles with them.
The Palestinian Authority and the Islamic Movement’s branch in the Galilee frequently claim that Israel is digging underneath the Temple Mount to cause its collapse.
Now, the Al Aqsa Foundation has pointed to the popular support for Feiglin and other strong nationalists of the Likud as proof that Al Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount will be “contaminated” by Jews.
Worst of all, the Foundation claims that the election results show that Prime Minister Netanyahu soon will announce plans for building the Third Temple, which it describes as “false," in line with increasingly popular Muslim ideology that the First and Second Temples never existed.
All of the “evidence” is “undeniable proof that the Al Aqsa mosque is in danger and that the Muslim world must shoulder the responsibility to save it,” according to Al Aqsa.
Feiglin is known for his desire to pray on the Temple Mount, and after the Pillar of Defense counter terrorist operation, he wrote, “We must expel the Muslim Waqf from the Temple Mount and restore exclusive Israeli sovereignty over the Mount – Judaism's most holy site. We must encourage Jews to ascend the Temple Mount after the proper halakhic preparations and to actualize their sovereignty over the beating heart of the Jewish Nation.”
(HUNGARY) Anger as Hungary far-right leader demands lists of Jews!
BUDAPEST (Reuters) - A Hungarian far-right politician urged the government to draw up lists of Jews who pose a "national security risk", stirring outrage among Jewish leaders who saw echoes of fascist policies that led to the Holocaust.
Marton Gyongyosi, a leader of Hungary's third-strongest political party Jobbik, said the list was necessary because of heightened tensions following the brief conflict in Gaza and should include members of parliament.
Opponents have condemned frequent anti-Semitic slurs and tough rhetoric against the Roma minority by Gyongyosi's party as populist point scoring ahead of elections in 2014.
Jobbik has never called publicly for lists of Jews.
"I am a Holocaust survivor," said Gusztav Zoltai, executive director of the Hungarian Jewish Congregations' Association. "For people like me this generates raw fear, even though it is clear that this only serves political ends. This is the shame of Europe, the shame of the world."
Between 500,000 and 600,000 Hungarian Jews died in the Holocaust, according to the Holocaust Memorial Centre in Budapest. According to some accounts, one in three Jews killed in Auschwitz were Hungarian nationals.
Gyongyosi's call came after Foreign Ministry State Secretary Zsolt Nemeth said Budapest favored a peaceful solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as benefiting both Israelis with Hungarian ancestry, Hungarian Jews and Palestinians in Hungary.
Gyongyosi, who leads Jobbik's foreign policy cabinet, told Parliament: "I know how many people with Hungarian ancestry live in Israel, and how many Israeli Jews live in Hungary," according to a video posted on Jobbik's website late on Monday.
"I think such a conflict makes it timely to tally up people of Jewish ancestry who live here, especially in the Hungarian Parliament and the Hungarian government, who, indeed, pose a national security risk to Hungary."
Gyongyosi, 35, is the son of a diplomat who grew up mostly in the Middle East and Asia -- Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan and India -- and whose office is decorated by Iranian and Turkish souvenirs. He graduated with a degree in business and political science from Trinity College in Dublin in 2000.
He worked for four years at the Dublin office of KPMG, then returned to Budapest in 2005. He has been active in Jobbik since 2006 and became their MP in 2010.
APOLOGY
The government condemned the remarks.
"The government strictly rejects extremist, racist, anti-Semitic voices of any kind and does everything to suppress such voices," the government spokesman's office said.
Laszlo Kover, the Speaker of parliament, who is from the ruling Fidesz party, also issued a statement on Tuesday in which he called for a tightening of house rules that would allow a sanctioning of such behavior.
Gyongyosi tried to play down his comments on Tuesday, saying he was referring to citizens with dual Israeli-Hungarian citizenship.
"I apologize to my Jewish compatriots for my declarations that could be misunderstood," he said on Jobbik's website. He later told a news conference that he would not resign and considered the matter "closed," national news agency MTI reported.
Jobbik's anti-Semitic discourse often evokes a centuries-old blood libel - the accusation that Jews used Christians' blood in religious rituals.
"Jobbik has moved from representing medieval superstition (of the blood libel) to openly Nazi ideologies," wrote Slomo Koves, chief rabbi of the Unified Hungarian Jewish Congregation.
STEADY BASE
Jobbik registered as a political party in 2003, and gained increasing influence as it radicalized gradually, vilifying Jews and the country's 700,000 Roma.
The group gained notoriety after founding the Hungarian Guard, an unarmed vigilante group reminiscent of World War Two-era far-right groups. It entered Parliament at the 2010 elections and holds 44 of 386 seats.
The centre-right government of Prime Minister Viktor Orban has struggled to pull Hungary out of recession as many European countries suffer from an economic crisis.
Orban's Fidesz has lost more than a million voters since 2010, even though it is still the strongest political force.
More than half of Hungary's electorate is undecided and having retained its voter base, some analysts say Jobbik could hold the balance of power in the 2014 elections between Fidesz and the fragmented left-wing opposition.
Oh my...this artist picked the wrong FATHER to tick off!
Painting Depicts Obama as Crucified Christ
It was originally supposed to debut nearly four years ago at New York City’s Union Square. But that event was cancelled due to public outrage.
“I always regretted cancelling my exhibit in New York because I feel my First Amendment rights should override someone’s hurt feelings,” D’Antuono told Fox News. “We should celebrate the fact that we live in a country where we are given the freedom to express ourselves.”
A spokesperson for the art gallery told Fox News there hasn’t been any criticism of the painting.
D’Antuono said the public exhibition “has afforded me the ability to right a wrong.”
He dismissed critics who called the display blasphemous.
“The crucifixion of the president was meant metaphorically,” he told Fox News. “My intent was not to compare him to Jesus.”
D’Antuono blamed the controversy on conservative media “trying to promote the idea that liberals believe the president to literally be our savior.”
In the aftermath of his aborted first attempt – the artist said he received more than 4,000 emails containing messages that were “anything but Christian-like.”
“But I accepted that it is their right to express themselves and hope that they now see it in their hearts to afford me the same right,” he said.
