In ancient times watchman would mount the city walls in times of stress to survey the scene outside the fortifications. He was situated on a spot from which he could monitor the approaches to the town. If a threat appeared, he would sound a warning and the town would shut its gates and prepare for battle.
thanks for ur site... me and my preacher got into a fight. I do the end time news at the church. but they kept saying that the sabbath is sunday and i said no it's not. and they said if i don't like it to satrt my own church or go to a diffrerent one i am sad about it but glad. i beleive the sabbath is saturday and i do the sabbath. God will use evil for good, from everything I read in the bible I am 100% sure God would not approve of that response to your information. God wants us to question and study what we are told by man! Pastors are good people but are suceptible to sin and wrong interpretation as we are! If you are instructed to find a new church because you simply disagreed with the church, I would ask what their purpose is...to follow God or follow the Church? ALWAYS GO WITH GOD! If you read and study on your own you will find that church is just the icing on the cake! I love church BUT i do not soley depend on what I am told by anyone I always research myself! God bless you!
