“The implications of the agreement in the foreseeable future are very bad. Iran will continue sending terror cells in all directions, will continue to inflame the Middle East and worst of all – will take a huge step toward becoming a nuclear threshold state,” Hotovely said.
She said that Israel would use any diplomatic means necessary to prevent the confirmation of the agreement by the US Congress.
According to diplomats, the deal, which seeks to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions in exchange for sanctions relief, will place limits on the amount of nuclear work Iran can do over the next 10 to 15 years in exchange for the easing of economic sanctions.
It will still need to be ratified by Congress in Washington, and Israeli officials have indicated they will continue to fight for a stronger deal.
Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan told Army Radio the “details of the agreement matter little, so long as they [the Iranians] can ultimately acquire nuclear weapons.”

"Today after two years of negotiation the United States together with the international community has achieved something that decades of animosity has not: a comprehensive long-term deal with Iran that will prevent it from obtaining a nuclear weapon," Obama said from the White House, with Vice President Joe Biden at his side.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani also praised the deal, speaking after Obama finished, as televisions in Iran broadcast the U.S. President's statement live, translated into Farsi.
"Negotiators have reached a good agreement and I announce to our people that our prayers have come true," Rouhani said in a live address to the nation following Obama.
The essential idea behind the deal is that in exchange for limits on its nuclear activities, Iran would get relief from sanctions while being allowed to continue its atomic program for peaceful purposes.

President Obama formally announced on Wednesday that the United States and Cuba have both agreed to open embassies in each other’s capitals following more than a half-century of hostilities between the two nations.
"This is a historic step forward in our efforts to normalize relations with the Cuban government and people and begin a new chapter with our neighbors in the Americas,” Obama said.
The U.S. Embassy in Havana is scheduled to open on July 20, the Cuban Foreign Ministry said.
The U.S. and Cuba have been negotiating the re-establishment of embassies following a surprise announcement in December that secret talks between the global foes had led to a landmark agreement.

International negotiators seeking a nuclear deal with Iran announced they are extending talks for another week, after being unable to meet the original Tuesday deadline.
A senior State Department official said the so-called P5+1 negotiators, along with Iran, have decided to extend the deadline until July 7, "to allow more time for negotiations to reach a long-term solution."
The extension was widely expected, coming as all sides try to iron out their remaining differences.

A paper in Physics Letters B has raised the possibility that the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) could make a discovery that would put its previous triumph with the Higgs Boson in the shade. The authors suggest it could detect mini black holes. Such a finding would be a matter of huge significance on its own, but might be an indication of even more important things.
Few ideas from theoretical physics capture the public imagination as much as the “many-worlds hypothesis,” which proposes an infinite number of universes that differ from our own in ways large and small. The idea has provided great fodder for science fiction writers andcomedians.
However, according to Professor Mir Faizal from the University of Waterloo, "Normally, when people think of the multiverse, they think of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, where every possibility is actualized," he said to Phys.org. "This cannot be tested and so it is philosophy and not science." Nonetheless, Faizal considers the test for a different sort of parallel universes almost within our grasp.

Peek behind the curtain of some "progressive" or "hip" evangelical churches, past the savvy technology and secular music, and you will find more than just a contemporary worship service. You'll find faith leaders encouraging young evangelicals to trade in their Christian convictions for a gospel filled with compromise. They're slowly attempting to give evangelicalism an "update"—and the change is not for the good.
It's painful for me to admit, but we can no longer rest carefree in our evangelical identity—because it is changing. No doubt you have seen the headlines declaring that evangelicalism is doomed because evangelical kids are leaving the faith. It is no secret that there is an expanding gulf between traditional Christian teachings and contemporary moral values. But the sad truth is that the ideological gulf between America's evangelical grown-ups and their kids, aka the "Millennials," seems to be widening too.
Somehow the blame for this chasm is being heaped on traditional churches. They are accused of having too many rules as well as being homophobic and bigoted. Yes, we've heard those false claims from popular culture in its desperate attempt to keep Christianity imprisoned within the sanctuary walls. But now popular culture is being aided by Christ-professing bedfellows whose message to "coexist," "tolerate" and "keep out of it" is more marketable to the rising generation of evangelicals.
The seasoned Christian soldiers are noticing these distortions of the gospel. But for young evangelicals, the spiritual haze is harder to wade through. Desperate for acceptance in a fallen world, many young evangelicals (and some older ones) choose not to take Christ out of the chapel, and so they are unwittingly killing the church's public witness. In this uphill cultural battle, mired by scare tactics and fear, three types of evangelical Christians are emerging:
- Couch-potato Christians: These Christians adapt to the culture by staying silent on the tough culture-and-faith discussions. Typically this group will downplay God's absolute truths by promoting the illusion that neutrality was Jesus' preferred method of evangelism.
- Cafeteria-style Christians: This group picks and chooses which Scripture passages to live by, opting for the ones that best seem to jive with culture. Typically they focus solely on the "nice" parts of the gospel while simultaneously and intentionally minimizing sin, hell, repentance and transformation.
- Convictional Christians: In the face of the culture's harsh admonitions, these evangelicals refuse to be silent. Mimicking Jesus, they compassionately talk about love and grace while also sharing with their neighbors the need to recognize and turn from sin. More

You could try to push all those protons and neutrons together, but as soon as you let go, the protons would all shoot away from each other, and the neutrons would drift apart as well. There has to be some other force that holds protons and neutrons together.
Of course, since the electric force is constantly trying to drive the protons apart, the force that holds them all in must be stronger than the electric force. And keep in mind, the electric force gets stronger as charged particles get closer together, and the protons in a nucleus are very close together. As a result, the force that holds protons and neutrons together must be very strong. Well, in a brilliant stroke of imagination, physicists have named this force "the strong force."
The strong force is a force which attracts protons to protons, neutrons to neutrons, and protons and neutrons to each other. The force has a very short range, and this is the reason the nucleus of an atom turns out to be so small. In addition, the strong force is also responsible for binding the quarks and gluons into protons and neutrons.

Evangelist Franklin Graham continues to use Facebook to send out messages in opposition to the threat of radical Islam on the world. This time, he used the opportunity to post the reason why he believes Christians and Muslims react differently to ridicule and insults.
"Our God does not need to be defended," Graham wrote on Saturday.
All of the ridicule and lampooning done against Jesus Christ was essentially absorbed as He was beaten and hung on a cross, Graham reasoned. Therefore, he adds, "He needs no man to protect His honor."

College conservatives branded 'hate group' for refusing LGBT sensitivity training

A conservative student group at a Washington, DC, college has been branded a “hate group” and fears it could lose its funding for refusing to take part in gay, lesbian and transgender-oriented sensitivity training.
Members of the Young America’s Foundation student organization at The George Washington University believe the traditional values they espouse merit a religious exemption from taking part in the training. They are asking the student government to allow them to sit out the LGBT sensitivity training, and a requirement that they use the “preferred pronouns” of the people they address or refer to.
“We are hoping that by voicing our opinion, other groups may follow our lead, resulting in the [student government] taking our request to heart,” Amanda Robbins, the group’s co-president, told The College Fix.
For now, there are no exemptions from the mandatory training for all sanctioned student groups, which Robbins believes represents intolerance toward conservative viewpoints.
Allied in Pride, a campus LGBT group, told The College Fix Young America’s Foundation is guilty of “intolerance and a pattern of hate” for inviting former Sen. Rick Santorum, a conservative Republican, to speak. The group also stated the conservative club’s funding should be revoked.
“The Young America’s Foundation is a political organization, not a religious one, so they cannot seek a religious exemption, and their refusal to use preferred gender pronouns should be considered an act of violence and a violation of the non-discrimination clause required in all GW student organizations’ Constitutions,” the group wrote on its Facebook page.
Young America’s Foundation Vice President Patrick Coyle said on the group’s Facebook page the school must exclude students who disagree with “prevailing leftist ideas that are pushed by the administration, faculty, and other liberal student groups.“ MORE

‘A SLAP IN THE FACE’: SHERIFF ORDERED TO REMOVE AMERICAN FLAG FROM COURTHOUSE

A sheriff in Virginia is angered after being ordered to remove an American flag display from his local courthouse, in a move he is labeling “a slap in the face.”
The Portsmouth Fire Department recently gifted Sheriff Bill Watson’s office with a flag display crafted out of recycled fire hoses, complete with a sign that reads, “A Tribute to Public Safety.”
When Sheriff Watson attempted to have the display mounted in the lobby of the Portsmouth courthouse, however, judges blocked the effort claiming it would set the wrong precedent.
Sheriff Watson says the judges told him “Not only do we not want it on the wall, we don’t want it in the courthouse.”
“I just can’t believe that they don’t want to display the American flag in a courthouse, I mean that’s the most asinine thing I’ve ever heard in my life,” Sheriff Watson lamented to CBS affiliate NewsChannel3.
One of the judges, who preferred to remain anonymous, explained their position to reporters, saying the lobby was an inappropriate location for the display and was unnecessary. MORE
Rev. Graham: Obama, Holder Pushing a 'New Morality That Does Not Include God' -- 'An Anti-Christ Movement'

President Barack Obama and his outgoing attorney general, Eric Holder, are, along with "progressives" in government, forcing "a new morality" on the American people, a "morality that does not include God" and which is "an Anti-Christ movement," said Reverend Franklin Graham.
"There is an anti-Christian bias that is now in our government, has permeated our government, that’s also permeated Washington but [also] at the state and local level," said Rev. Graham during a Mar. 11 interview on Washington Watch With Tony Perkins.
"It’s the progressives, whatever you want to call them, that are trying -- and the president is into this and the attorney general is into this 100% -- and that is, forcing on the American people a new morality," said Rev. Graham. "And it’s a morality that does not include God or His standards. That’s what we’re facing today."
"It is an Anti-Christ movement that we’re seeing taking place," he said.
However, the reverend, who runs the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and the international relief group Samaritan's Purse, said Americans still "have a voice" and "can speak up, like we're doing right now."
"They cannot silence our voice yet," he said. "I think as long as we speak we've got an opportunity to turn the tide."

Leading into the program, host Tony Perkins asked Rev. Graham about religious persecution in the Middle East by the Islamic State and whether the United States was doing enough to help the people fleeing the persecution.
Rev. Graham said that what was happening constituted, in his view, genocide. "I'm just frightened that the Christian community in Iraq is going to be completely wiped out," he said.
As for the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Shia Muslim government there has placed tough restrictions on the Farsi-speaking Christian churches to the point, said Rev. Graham, where they "will soon be gone" and just "die off."
The Sunni Muslims in Iraq and Syria, in contrast, are just "killing the Christians, beheading them, cutting their throats, telling them to convert to Islam or we're going to shoot you," he said. MORE
